Milton Bradley DFAD
In case you havent heard , Milton " the gamer' Bradley has been DFAD. He has always been one of my favorite players. My favorite Bradley moment was when he hit the walk off against BJ ryan last year. I was there and boy was that exciting. Also Bradley stepped up in the playoffs last year and was one of the main reasons the A's finally advanced. The main reason Beane most likely did this was to free up room in the OF. I really hope the A's can aqquire griffey now but most likely that wont happen.
Getting back to the A's, they have played great in June but the Angels are having an amazing season. The A's only hope at the playoffs is the wild card. The a's go on one of the toughest road trips i can remember in recent memory. 3 At shea vs the mets, 4 at jacobs field where the A's have sucked and then they head over to yankee stadium for 3 vs the bronx bombers who are red hot. This is one of those "if they can play 500 ball on this trip its a success" road trips.
Other topics on this thursday. The nba draft is a week away. The warriors have the 18th pick. Im hoping they draft whoever has the best talent as oppose to a skinny/soft center which they usually do. Im guessing at this point they will take Derrick Byars from Vandy.

Sick
Its spring break, but im sick. Here are some of my latest tidbts from sports.
Pacman Jones suspended for the year: Good move, the nfl just cant keep letting there players do watever they want. Finally the NFL made a statement.
Imus vs rutgers: I wish this shit would end. Imus made a horrible mistake but I can tell hes sincerley sorry. He might have gone too far though s maybe he should be fired. I think Rutgers should just take the high rad and not comment on it. I know thats easier said then done.
MLB: Can people stfu about scheduling home games out west in april. This is bullshit. This is just one year and an extreme case with the cleveland issue. If they move the schedule around next year its a disater waiting to happen.
Bay area baseball- Both teams look absoloutely terrible on offense. The A's line up is full of players that just dont perform as well as they should. Eric chavez in my opnion is a defensive player , his offensensive talent is not of a superstar. Meanwhile, the giants with the eception of bonds are LOL bad so far. Zito is going to have to pitch amazing to be worth the money sabean threw at him. Speaking of sabean, If i was a giants fan id be begging for the giants to fire him. He is the WORST gm in baseball. Aurilla is not a threat, winn is not a threat, and so on.
Warriors: Bottmline, they have 4 games the clippers habe 6. I think this favors LA more then people think. Quite frankly I just dnt think the clippers will lose the rest of the season.

TV update
back with more funny and interesting stuff from my tivo.
The hills: Spencer is just so damn funny. You can see other funny things he said in my last TV update. This monday on the hills may have been his funiest scene. The big issue on the hills right now is Heidi maybe moving in with Spencer. Well check it out, Heid was in a car with Spencer and she said "My answer is no" and spencer replied with his funny ass voice "Sweeet, my answer is get out of my car" and he then proceeded to speed off . You had too see it.
Sureall life fame game: In the finale of a truely underated show, There was a vote to eliminate one of the final 3. Ron Jeremy promised to keep in both Pepa and Rob" Vanilla Ice" . Obviously he was lieing to one of them. It turned out that Vanilla ice was the one that got eliminated. In one of the biggest outburts in reality tv history Vanilla ice got so mad. He then went on to throw things, tackle things, punch things, yell things ( BAAAAAAAAAAAACKSTABBERRRRRRRR!" Very funny but scary at the same time.
The Real world: one of the more boring episodes, outward bound students came up for the actual course but not much funny happened this week. Stephen appears to not care about the people on the show tht much.
American Idol: LMAO ! Sanjaya malakars hair. That dude is freakkin funny mayn. Once again he had a shitty performance and once again sites like VOTEFORTHEWORST.COM keepin him in there. Vote for SANJAYA!!!
High school basketball state championship. Mater Dei's star Taylor king , dukebound, dribbled up the court and shot a longer then nba range 3 and airballed. I wish i kept it on tivo.
D-2 championship: maybe the most exciting game ive ever seen on tv. Down 2 with 13 seconds left Barton drove to the hoop with a very sweet reverse layup to tie it. With 5 seconds left, winona state, who had not lost a game in 57 games dribbled it up the court and then... THE BALL WAS STOLEN and Barton won it at the buzzer on a fast break layup to pull the upset and win the D-2 championship. Gus Johnston style: UnBEEElievABLE!... shout out to Gus. He's a beast. too bad he was not announcing that game.

NL Predictions
So im pretty bored in Journalism right now. I decided to do my NL picks now. I think the NL and AL are much more equal this year then last. I think the Cardinals would have lost in a series to any playoff team in the AL, besides the tigers. Anyways heres the predictions.
NL WEST: Should be a much improved division. The Giants, Dodgers and Diamondbacks and padres all got better. I think the Dodgers Getting Jason Schmidt was one of the best moves of any team. The giants will need Matt Morris to be much better this year and matt Cain could be a cy young canidate. The Diamondbacks young talent, such as guys like Chris Young and Stephen Drew could be part of a very talented young D-back team team that supries people. The rockies flat out suck.

2. Diamondbacks- 88 wins
3. Giants- 87 wins
4. Padres- 85 wins
5. Rockies- 69 wins
NL central: With the reigining world series champs St louis cardinals in here, anything can happen. I look for the Chicago cubs to stun people. With Alfonso soriano and with new Manager lou Pinniela I look for this team to be RAW.

Baseball season is right around the corner. Last year I predictied the tigers would shock people and win the wild card and that happened. here are my predictions for this year in the AL .

I think that every team could compete for the titline and UNLIKE the NL west in years past , it would be because every team is good. i think the Rangers are really going to benefit playing for Ron washington. Can Jeff Weaver be the pitcher he was in the world series? Can The Angels find some hitting this year?

Final FO
My bracket sucks!. Lol, Only got one final for team right. Which was UCLA. My predictions werent that good or bad for the previous round. Here are my predictions for the final 4 games and the Championship.
UCLA- Florida
I think Ucla comes out early showing how much they want. Florida will come back and the game will come down to the PG'S. I like Collison better then green. Ucla wins on a pair of collison free throws.
UCLA 78 , Florida 77.
Ohio State- Georgetown.
I dont like either team and quite frankly think both teams are lucky to be there. Conley has really stepped up in the tournament. He continues his run.

TV update
As some of you know, I watch a lot of tv. Especially Reality Tv. He re are some of the funny / big moments of the week that I capured on Tivo. I love Tivo!...
The Hills: This show all together is freakin funny. Especially heidi's boyfriend Spencer, comments like "Lick my kneck and all J*** show what kind of charachter that dirtbag is. Anyways this weeks episode featured Laurens suprise party. While there were funny moments during the show, the funniest moment was in the preview for next weeks episode. If you wwatch the hills you know that spencer wants heidi to move in with him. well, in the preview for next week's episode, Heidi says " My answer is no" ad Spencer in his cheeesy voice says " My answer is get out of my car". CLASSIC
The Real World: Tyre gets arrested for peeing on the street after his huge argument with his girlfriend. Although its not funny that he got arrested, you have to admit peeing on the street when the house was an inch away is funny. Hopefully he is able to move on.
American Idol: How about Samjaya Malakar. Its so funny how bad he is. Yet he continues to stay in the competition.

March Madness
Ok so I know I havent posted anything for a very very long time, but anyways march madness is under way and my brackeet is busted up. Here are my predictions for the sweet 16 games and on.
Kansas vs southern Illinois.
Should be a very good game with the salukis defense, but look for brandon rush and mario chalmers to have a monster game. Kansas runs away with under 5 minutes. Kansas moves on. 71-56.
Ucla vs Pitt.
I predict this will be a very sloppy, defensive game. Ben Howland coaching against his ex team led by Jamie Dixon. Since Howland has left Pitt, Pitt has not really done as good in the tourney as they would have liked. A win for pitt would be a huge win for jamie dixon and the panthers. Unfornetly for Pitt, I think Darren Collison shows why he is the most underated player in college basketball. Ucla Wins 56-51.
Unlv- Oregon.
Unlv has shocked people by making the sweet 16, I happen to think both there wins werent that impressive. Georgia Tech was a tenth seed. Wisconsin was on the decline. Both Oregon and UNLV go with 4 guard syarting line -ups. Advantage goes to oregon Download with Marty Leunen. Oregon wins 70-60.
Florida -Butler.
Im predicting a blowout in this game. Noah , Horford and Company beat butler by 30.
88-58.
North Carolina- USC.
I think this will be the best game of the sweet 16 match-ups. USC has momentum and North Carolina has a ton of talent. Usc has great guard play with Gabe Pruitt and Nick young and very good defense. Im predicting the upset in this game. USC will play like they want it more.
USC takes it 69-68. ( Nick young game winner)
Georgetown- Vandy
Vandy will stay in it with great play from Shan Foster and derrick Byars, but georgetowns great defense and slow paced offense will be too much for vandy.

Ohio State- Tennesee.
The volunteers play hard for 40 minutes. If Chris lofton can score 25 points they win. They must knock the 3 ball down. I think tennesee falls a bit shorrt.
Ohio State- 69 tenesee 66 ( yes, same score as when they played before.)
Texas A AND M - Memphis
I think Memphis ios the worst team left. I thought they got extremely lucky with the part of the bracket they played in the first 2 rounds.
