March Madness
Ok so I know I havent posted anything for a very very long time, but anyways march madness is under way and my brackeet is busted up. Here are my predictions for the sweet 16 games and on.
Kansas vs southern Illinois.
Should be a very good game with the salukis defense, but look for brandon rush and mario chalmers to have a monster game. Kansas runs away with under 5 minutes. Kansas moves on. 71-56.
Ucla vs Pitt.
I predict this will be a very sloppy, defensive game. Ben Howland coaching against his ex team led by Jamie Dixon. Since Howland has left Pitt, Pitt has not really done as good in the tourney as they would have liked. A win for pitt would be a huge win for jamie dixon and the panthers. Unfornetly for Pitt, I think Darren Collison shows why he is the most underated player in college basketball. Ucla Wins 56-51.
Unlv- Oregon.
Unlv has shocked people by making the sweet 16, I happen to think both there wins werent that impressive. Georgia Tech was a tenth seed. Wisconsin was on the decline. Both Oregon and UNLV go with 4 guard syarting line -ups. Advantage goes to oregon Download with Marty Leunen. Oregon wins 70-60.
Florida -Butler.
Im predicting a blowout in this game. Noah , Horford and Company beat butler by 30.
88-58.
North Carolina- USC.
I think this will be the best game of the sweet 16 match-ups. USC has momentum and North Carolina has a ton of talent. Usc has great guard play with Gabe Pruitt and Nick young and very good defense. Im predicting the upset in this game. USC will play like they want it more.
USC takes it 69-68. ( Nick young game winner)
Georgetown- Vandy
Vandy will stay in it with great play from Shan Foster and derrick Byars, but georgetowns great defense and slow paced offense will be too much for vandy.
Georgetown 70 Vandy 64
Ohio State- Tennesee.
The volunteers play hard for 40 minutes. If Chris lofton can score 25 points they win. They must knock the 3 ball down. I think tennesee falls a bit shorrt.
Ohio State- 69 tenesee 66 ( yes, same score as when they played before.)
Texas A AND M - Memphis
I think Memphis ios the worst team left. I thought they got extremely lucky with the part of the bracket they played in the first 2 rounds.
Tamu clobbers them
